Geomag Magnetic Challenge Description
As if nearly endless multidimensional creative construction wasn’t enough of a playtime option, the makers of the popular building set Geomag have turned their toys from sculptural to strategic with Magnetic Challenge. Designed for two or four players, this engaging game is played on an octagonal board lined with a metal core. For those familiar with Geomag, the structurally simple playing pieces will present no surprise: small magnetized rods and steel spheres that form strong joints when connected. Each player must move a "snake" of these Geomag pieces from one side of the board to the other; a feat made more difficult by a finite number of positions on the board. While the objective is simple, this game requires patience, skill, and tactical strategy, rather than speed or blind luck. Like all Geomag toys, Magnetic Challenge presents engaging experiences with fundamental natural laws of physics, geometry, and engineering in a simple and approachable way.
