Build this longboat for master boat builders and sailors, the Vikings, and then sail with them on what may begin as a trade expedition but ends in a high-sea battle against the Midgard serpent. When this vicious reptile rears his scaly head, the Vikings must fire the working catapult to knock him back into the water. This multi-faced toy requires kids to use both construction skills and their creativity to come up with new and exciting adventures. An instruction booklet with detailed color, three-dimensional diagrams shows kids exactly how to fit the 585 pieces together to construct the Viking ship. Four Nordic figures are included to man the ship and stave off the evil serpent.
